Growing up, Lauren always knew she wanted to be in a helping field. As a Recreation Therapist she provides holistic care to individuals in various stages of life. From pediatrics to young adults to families with a loved one in their final days- Lauren is no stranger to providing full spectrum support. She is passionate about looking at the "whole self" and incorporates physical, social, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness into her practice both as a CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) and as a doula.

Lauren's personal journey with birth and loss began in 2018 with her first pregnancy. At 18 weeks, Lauren went into premature labor and ultimately birthed two beautiful angel babies, Gabe and Ben. What was the most devastating experience of her life so far, has in time, turned into the greatest gift- lighting the path towards hope, healing, and a passion for serving other families in these major life moments.

The birth of Lauren's oldest daughter was in many ways a redemptive experience. Having the support of an incredible doula, compassionate birth team, & a beautifully peaceful environment sparked a new passion for all things birth. So in 2020, Lauren began her training as a birth doula and dove head first into the birth world! In her first year she attended 30+ births, taught childbirth classes, and continues to learn and grow as a grateful provider in the birth space. New moms deserve to be surrounded by love as their babies are born earth-side or into Heaven, and Lauren is humbled to be a part of your story.

With her own grief and years of hard inner work now a part of her core being, Lauren's passion for serving others has expanded into pregnancy loss support services. Compassionate, gentle, steady, and strong- Lauren is exactly the kind of person you will want by your side when the time comes to say goodbye.

Lauren's vocational experience has gifted her a greater mindfulness and sense of gratitude. She treasures every moment, big and small with her precious family above all else. She has the greatest husband anyone could ask for and two sweet, hilarious, and intelligent little girls. On any given day, you can find them out in the sunshine with a cup of coffee- be it in the backyard, on a hike, or exploring all that Indy has to offer.
